Why myth?

Mythology is a collection of stories or legends that people have created over time to explain things that they didn’t understand. These stories are often based on imaginary or supernatural beings, like gods, goddesses, and mythical creatures. More importantly, myths often attempt to explain and shed light on our human behavior and how we relate to other people in relationships.

It can also help people to explore the human experience by presenting stories that reflect on the challenges and triumphs in life.

Myths can help us make sense of the world around us, connect to events in our lives on a symbolic level, and use the wisdom of stories passed down from generation to generation to find meaning in how they can be found in many different cultures and societies around the world. They can provide insight into a society’s values, beliefs, and customs, and they can be used to explore universal themes and issues that are still relevant today.

The concept of the hero’s journey is a cycle of events that are frequently found in stories all over the world that detail the progression of a character’s adventure. Divided into three universal phases (The Departure, The Initiation, and The Return), each has several stages within them that develop the phases more in-depth.
